While this computer that I bought last summer has no trouble with the English alphabet, or the Hebrew one for that matter, it runs into difficulties when it comes across Chinese characters. They just show up as blocks with numbers in them. I tried going into the Control Panel and clicking on Regional and Language Options, but then I kept getting prompts for a Windows XP Home Edition CD, which I of course don't have, since XP was already installed in the computer when I got it. So far, I haven't been able to find the needed files on the Microsoft Download site, and Microsoft now charges $49.00 to deal with a technical support question. I just added a new topic in the MSFN forums, so perhaps some help will come from there.
