The Decision on the Revocation of the Judgment

The decision mentioned in the last couple of blog entries is finally online. Here it is:

  1. One dumb American. Speaks only English. Requests an English blurb to tell me what the French says.

  2. Being in Quebec, everything is often only available in French. But that would need another blog entry, or perhaps several blog entries, to explain. Essentially, it says that, since I never received the notice of the first hearing, the judgment of that hearing is revoked, and a new hearing has to be held. (The first judgment, made in my absentia, ordered me evicted within 11 days, or by about December 9, 2008).

Another hearing on the original complaint against me, will be held on February 19 at 2:30 PM.

  3. Actually there have been a few random rants about "tongue police" and such. I tried to learn another language but I'm not apparently able to learn in a classroom. Sigh. Well at least there will be another hearing. Perhaps your landlord will simply let it go once they realize you intend to vacate at the end of your lease.

  4. Actually, that's what I was hoping for when I got off my ass to send out the letter of non-renewal.
